Strawberry tulips

Flashes of brightly coloured flowers are everywhere at the moment. Here are some lovely strawberry tulips perfect for eating!

Recipe

Ingredients

  • strawberries
  • kiwifruit (or green apple)
  • pepitas (pumpkin seeds) – or kiwi/green apple
  • sunflower seeds

Method

Step 1 Cut a strawberry in half.

Step 2 Cut an indent in the top and angle the bottom slightly.

Step 3 Add another strawberry flower.

Step 4 And a third.

Step 5 Add pepitas for the stalk.

Step 6 Then more for the leaves.

Step 7 Kiwifruit makes great grass.

Step 8 Finish off with a little distant sunflower seed sun… or is it a seed fairy…?
