A recent Spanish study found meal timing is potentially associated with cancer risk. Specifically, earlier evening meals and a longer interval between eating dinner and going to sleep were associated with a lower prostate or breast cancer risk. Compared with subjects sleeping immediately after dinner, those sleeping two or more hours after eating had reduced risk of developing the cancers.
