Cabbage keeps you strong

An increased daily intake of broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower or Brussels sprouts may help older people reduce their risk of fall-related hospitalisation, possibly through improved muscular function.

Australian researchers also found higher overall vegetable consumption was associated with better muscle strength in the elderly women they studied.
