Fruit, veges and population health casualties of Brexit

An unexpected, potentially fatal twist to the Brexit saga could lead to 12,400 extra English cardiovascular deaths over the next 10 years, according to international researchers. A study, published in The BMJ, noted the UK is highly dependent on imported fresh produce and prices are expected to rise, post-Brexit, with a subsequent reduction in consumption, which could well mean a drop in general wellness levels.
