Rugby players get fishy

A study of 20 professional Rugby Union players, by Otago University researchers, has found fish oil omega-3 supplements added to protein drinks reduced lower body muscle soreness and fatigue and better maintained a measure of lower-body power in participants who consumed them. But lead researcher Katherine Black still advises getting omega-3 from eating fish. The study was very small,so more investigation is needed.
