CORRECTION: HbA1c levels

At Healthy Food Guide we do our best to get the facts straight but, from time to time, during the busy process of putting together a magazine, we can get things wrong.

To readers of our latest (November) issue we need to make a clarification about one of the numbers in our ‘Are you as healthy as you think?’ article. This is what the ‘Blood Glucose’ section should have said about what the HbA1c levels mean:

  • Over 50 mmol/mol DIABETES
  • 41-49 mmol/mol PRE-DIABETES
  • Less than 40 mmol/mol NORMAL

We’re sorry for the misunderstanding. The original article has now been corrected.
