    1 Place frozen banana chunks in a food processor and blend until bananas begin to break up into small pieces.

    2 Continue processing until bananas begin to cream together.

    3 Scrape down the sides then continue processing until bananas become a creamy ice-cream consistency. Serve immediately or place in a freezer-proof container and freeze until required.

    Variations

    Add 2 teaspoons vanilla bean paste once bananas have reached the creamy ice-cream consistency.
