Savoury mince and vegetable dinnerReviewed by our expert panel
- 400-500g lean minced beef or lamb
- 2 carrots, peeled and diced
- 2 potatoes, peeled and diced
- 1 cup water
1 Put mince into a saucepan with water. Add carrots and potatoes and cook gently for 30 minutes.
2 Purée to a smooth consistency using a food blender.
3 Freeze in ice cube trays, use as required.
Cook green vegetables such as broccoli, cauliflower, courgette until soft. Add 1 tablespoon to the savoury mince just before processing in blender.
