Chocolate bark

  • 150g dark chocolate
  • ¼ cup unsalted shelled pistachios, roughly chopped
  • 2 tablespoons shredded coconut
  • 1 orange, grated zest
  • 2 tablespoons dried fruit such as cranberries, currants, diced dried apricots

    1 Line a large baking tray with baking paper. Place chocolate in a microwave-safe container and microwave on high, stirring at 20-second intervals until smooth.

    2 Use a spatula to spread a thin layer of melted chocolate onto prepared tray. Scatter chocolate quickly (before it starts to set) with pistachios, coconut, orange zest and dried fruit.

    3 Leave chocolate bark to cool (at room temperature or in the fridge) then snap into different shapes and sizes and serve.

    Variations

    Make it gluten free: Check chocolate is gluten free.
