  • 150g reduced-fat spread
    • 3 tablespoons honey
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    • 3 cups porridge oats
    • ¼ cup shredded coconut
    • 3 tablespoons sliced almonds
    • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
    • ¾ cup dried cranberries
    • ½ cup sultanas
    • 150g apple sauce

    1 Preheat oven to 180ºC. Lightly grease a 24x16cm baking tin.

    2 Melt spread and honey in a pan over a low heat, then add vanilla. Set aside to cool.

    3 Combine all dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Add liquid mixture and apple sauce. Mix until dry ingredients are coated well. Press mixture into baking dish.

    4 Bake for 40 minutes or until starting to turn golden. Cool well then cut in slices. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze sliced portions.
