Banana, fruit bread and butter pudding

  • 6 slices wholemeal fruit bread (we used Burgen)
  • 1 large or 2 small bananas
  • 1 egg
  • ¾ cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar

    1 Butter the wholemeal fruit bread.  Layer in a baking dish. Slice bananas over the top.

    2 Whisk together the egg, milk and brown sugar and pour over.

    3 Bake at 180°C for around 30 minutes, until milk has formed a custard.
