Botanical bitters

This lemon lime and bitters-inspired sip blends calming chamomile, fresh cucumber and mint for a refreshing drink that feels fancy without the booze.

  • 30ml Bickford’s No Added Sugar Lemon Lime & Bitters cordial
  • 60ml chilled chamomile tea
  • 5 cucumber rounds, sliced ½ cm thick
  • 8 mint leaves
  • ½ cup tonic water or soda water
  • cucumber ribbon
  • fresh mint sprig
  • edible flowers

    1 In a shaker, muddle cordial, chamomile tea and cucumber until cucumber juices are released.

    2 Gently clap mint leaves between your hands to release the oils, then add to the shaker with a handful of ice. Shake well.

    3 Line a glass with a cucumber ribbon and fill with fresh ice. Strain mocktail over ice and top with your choice of mixer.

    4 Garnish with fresh mint sprig and edible flowers. Serve and enjoy!
