Rice cake funny faces

These fruity faces are a fun snack that the kids can make and enjoy eating.

  • 4 rice cakes
  • 4 tablespoons low-fat plain yoghurt
  • sprinkling of cinnamon or ground ginger (optional)
  • 1 kiwifruit, thinly sliced (see tip)
  • 2 strawberries, halved
  • 8 blueberries

    1 Spread the rice cakes with yoghurt. Sprinkle with cinnamon or ginger, if using.

    2 Make a face with the fruit: use large kiwifruit circles with a blueberry in the middle for the eyes. Use a half-slice of kiwifruit for a mouth, cutting a moon shape, discarding the seedy centre. Use the strawberry halves for the nose.

    You can also use golden kiwifruit for the mouth, if you want a variation.
