- 2 cups skim milk
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped dark chocolate
- ½ vanilla pod, seeds scraped (or ½ teaspoon vanilla extract)
- cocoa powder, to serve
- 2 marshmallows, chopped, to serve
1 Place milk, chocolate and vanilla in a saucepan over medium heat. Cook, stirring, for 5–6 minutes or until chocolate melts.
2 Strain and discard vanilla pod. Pour hot chocolate into 2 mugs. Dust with cocoa powder, and serve with chopped marshmallows.
