

Lemon slice
Ingredients
- 1 ¼ cup dates
- 1 cup ground almonds
- ¾ cup desiccated coconut
- ¼ cup rolled oatsoatmeal uncookedX
- 1 lemon, zest
- 4 tablespoons lemon juice
- Topping
- ¼ cup reduced-fat cream cheese
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- hot water, enough to just blend
- zest of lemon, to decorate (optional)

Instructions
1 Process dates then blend in other ingredients. Press into tin. Combine topping ingredients and spread on top. Decorate with lemon zest (if using).
2 Chill for 1 hour then serve.

this is a favorite easy to make and yum, family all loved except son
I also tried this as bliss balls (no icing) and rolled them in extra coconut. Very successful and delicious.
