- 400g can tomatoes (flavoured, if you prefer)
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- dash red wine (optional)
- 1 teaspoon dried or fresh rosemary
- freshly ground black pepper
1 Place ingredients in a saucepan. Cook gently for 10-20 minutes, until reduced a little. Taste and season with salt and pepper. Try different herbs for a range of flavours.
