- 1 ½ cups rolled oatsoatmeal uncookedX
- 3 ¼ cups water (or 2 ¼ cups water + 1 cup skim milk for creamy oatsoatmeal uncookedX)
- pinch salt
1 Combine oats in a saucepan with water (or water and milk for creamy oats). Bring to the boil, stirring occasionally, over a high heat. Reduce heat to low and simmer, stirring constantly, for 5-6 minutes or until thick.
