- 1 1/2 tablespoons brown sugarlight brown cane sugarX
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 1/2 tablespoons white vinegar
- 1 1/2 tablespoons tomato sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornflourcornstarchX

1 Combine fruit juice, sugar, soy sauce, vinegar and tomato sauce in a saucepan. Bring to a gentle simmer. Cook for 5 minutes, then add cornflour dissolved in a little hot water. Stir until it thickens, to make enough sauce for a stir-fry for four.
Double the quantities and store extra in the fridge.
