The Parkinson family

Parkinson family, from The Healthy Food Guide TV Series

Meet our series family, the Parkinsons.  They might seem pretty healthy but like a lot of families, they’ve got a lot going on.

Dad Jonny’s battle with type 2 diabetes is his biggest health crisis, but it’s not his only one. Mum Nicki wants a beach-babe body… but has hit a weight-loss slump.  Nicki’s brother Tamati is turning into a teenage couch potato… and doesn’t know how to change.  Jonny, Nicki and Tamati have the biggest issues so we will be concentrating on them.

But there’s also young Indy and Lincoln, whose food allergies create curve balls for family meals and French exchange student Jules, who might be rugby fit, but his nutrition knowledge is almost nil!

Join us as star nutritionist Claire Turnbull challenges the Parkinson family to get real by transforming their health in just five months.
