5 is the magic number

For the caffeine junkies among us, it seems that five coffees a day is the upper limit to avoid increasing your risk for cardiovascular disease.

A study by University of South Australia has found that if you’re drinking more than that the excess caffeine can cause high blood pressure, which is a risk factor for heart disease. According to study author Elina Hyppönen, drinking a lot of coffee can make people feel jittery and even nauseated, which is likely a sign you have reached your limit.
