    Instructions

    (Stops screen from sleeping)

1 In a saucepan, bring 1 cup water to the boil. Remove from heat, add teabags, cover and allow to steep for 10 minutes.

2 Meanwhile, in a separate saucepan heat milk, turmeric, honey and vanilla gently over medium, whisking constantly to froth.

3 Remove teabags from first saucepan and divide tea between two mugs. Add frothed milk and serve garnished with a sprinkle of cinnamon and cinnamon stick to garnish.

    Variations

Make it gluten free: Check ground spices are gluten free.

Make it vegan: Replace the milk with soy milk or your preferred plant milk, and the honey with maple syrup.

    HFG tip

You can buy tapioca pearls from Asian supermarkets but it’s fun making your own boba for your tea, and the texture is much nicer!

NOTE: If you have a nut allergy and are using packaged goods in recipes, please check the allergen warning on the packet regarding nuts.
