    The ingredients for this pie are delicious and the wholemeal crust was a perfect, simple contrast to the complex flavours of the filling.

    **There is a really big mistake with the size of the pie dish though!!! I halved the recipe and used a 24cm pie plate, bigger than the recommended size… it was still very full and overflowed in the oven.

    I would suggest using a large shallow casserole dish or THREE of the recommended size pie plate.
