

Pepper steak gravy

Pour pepper steak gravy over lean grilled steak, or use for beef pies.
Serves: makes about 1 cup

Ingredients

- 1 cup reduced-salt beef stock
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 teaspoons cornflourcornstarchX
- 1–2 teaspoons cracked black pepper

Instructions
1 Combine all ingredients. Add to a hot pan (ideally the pan that the steak has been cooked in with some of pan juices) and stir until mixture comes to the boil. Reduce heat, and simmer until sauce has thickened. Pour into a jug.
