  • 1 cup oats
    • 1 cup flour
    • ½ cup desiccated coconut
    • ¾ cup castor sugar
    • ¼ cup chopped nuts
    • ¼ cup Craisins or apricots
    • 1 teaspoon baking soda
    • 4 tablespoons golden syrup
    • ½ cup canola oil
    • 1 egg, lightly beaten

    1 Preheat oven to 160°C. Line 2 baking trays with baking paper.

    2 Place oats, flour, coconut, sugar, nuts and Craisins in a bowl.

    3 Place the remaining ingredients in a small jug. Whisk to combine. Add to dry ingredients. Stir well.

    4 Shape mixture into small balls. Flatten with a fork. Bake for 15 minutes until light golden. Cool. Store in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
